2. Application Process |
Step 2: Complete Franchise Application:
A member of the Franchise Development team will email you the web links for our confidential, online application after speaking with you about the opportunities in your area.

3. Review Disclosure |
Step 3: Review Franchise Disclosure:
After we receive your completed “Franchise Application”, we will email instructions on how to download and review the "Franchise Disclosure Document" (FDD). This allows thorough due diligence, as it includes a detailed investment breakdown, financial performance, P&L's for company-owned/operated locations, fee structure, and the names and numbers of all our franchisees.

4. Meet Area Representative |
Step 4: Meet Your Area Representative(AR):
Your application will be forwarded to the AR overseeing development in your intended market area. He/She will contact you to discuss details. Should you become a Firehouse Subs® franchisee, this AR will train and mentor you throughout your tenure.

5. Attend a Day of Discovery |
Step 5 Attend a Day of Discovery:
Typically held twice a month on Fridays, franchise candidates are invited to Firehouse Subs Headquarters in Jacksonville, Fla. to meet department heads, executives, and the founders. You’ll learn our history from CEO Don Fox, get further insight on our supportive infrastructure, learn each department’s role, and so much more. It’s a full day of getting to know your future partners.

6. Complete a Week Discovery |
Step 6 Complete a Week Discovery:
Regardless of background or experience, every candidate is required to work in one of our training restaurants for one week (five days). This self-directed time provides immense insight into what is required to own and operate a Firehouse Subs franchise.

7. Franchise Agreement Review |
Step 7 Review and execute your Franchise Agreement:
After you submit your business plan and we complete a credit and background check, your AR will issue you a “Franchise Agreement”. Review and sign the agreement and you are officially a Firehouse Subs franchisee!

9. Execute Lease |
Step 9 Execute lease / build-out restaurant:
Once you receive site approval from our Real Estate department, you will begin negotiating lease terms and work towards the execution of your lease. Once executed, work with your selected contractors to build-out your Firehouse Subs restaurant.

10. Open Your Restaurant |
Step 11 Open your Firehouse Subs:
Welcome to Firehouse - let the excitement begin! Your AR will work alongside you and your crew, making sure your customers get the Firehouse Subs experience that brings them back again and again.
