Musician, artist, and firefighter for life, Chris has always exerted his creative influence, from childhood in the family’s retail TV business to today in Firehouse Subs. His passion for aesthetics sets him apart, his right brain vision guiding every aspect of the Firehouse Subs customer experience. Chris is right on in his conviction that just like our unrivaled taste – lighting, sounds, visuals, and textures all contribute to the overall flavor. His creative prowess bleeds through the culture, customer experience, growth of the company, and the non-profit he founded with his brother Robin -- Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

Besides music, art, and his family, Chris loves diving into science, politics, paleontology, history, architecture, landscaping, gardening, cooking, movie quoting, and of course, maintaining his sarcastic reputation. When not at Firehouse, he can be found oceanside or jamming in his recording studio.

Just like our subs, Robin is “fully involved.” He’s the chief negotiator, ambassador, and the fire behind Firehouse Subs. At the heart of every business decision (especially those involving food) you’ll find Robin. A natural, one-of-a-kind leader; when he speaks, people listen. As tough as he is in the boardroom, his heart is made of gold – particularly when it comes to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. For someone whose been cooking up food AND business ideas since he was a teenager, it’s no surprise that he turned his dream into a reality. Robin was inducted into the Restaurateur Hall of Fame in 2011 by the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association.

First and foremost, Robin loves adventure and traveling with his family. Next on his list is entertaining, and barbecuing – hence the menu’s Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket sub. Get to know him and you’ll learn he loves to give to others, crack jokes, and, like his brother Chris, quote movies and dish out extra servings of sarcasm.

Credit Stephen Joost for Firehouse Subs’ financial well-being. You can trace the company’s financial discipline back to a chance ’94 conversation between Stephen and the Sorensen brothers. Stephen was quite impressed with what the Sorensens were up to; he took a chance and joined their team, without pay, teaching them to balance the company checkbook along the way. Today, Stephen oversees the budget for his community as a member (and former president) of the City Council in Jacksonville, FL. He rules with an iron fist, just as he did with Firehouse Subs, which has been debt free since 2001 and counting. His role in the company is partner, board member and adviser.

An avid golfer and tennis player, devoted family man, and dedicated community servant, Stephen set out to make his mark, in business and community service, and has excelled at both.

Tapping his impressive 38 years in franchising, restaurant management, corporate management, R&D, and human resources, Don leads the strategic, nationwide growth of Firehouse of America, LLC, overseeing 525+ restaurants and 7,000 employees. He serves as a chief spokesperson, sits on various boards of influence in the restaurant community, and is a respected speaker, commentator and blogger. He was named one of 10 Executives to Watch in 2011 by Nation’s Restaurant News (NRN), is a 2011 Golden Chain honoree, and was recently recognized by NRN as 2011’s Operator of the Year.

Passionate about traveling to baseball games with his family, Don is also a trumpeter, historian, and the published author of Patton’s Vanguard, a book about the United States Army Fourth Armored Division.

As a 22-year restaurant finance veteran, Vince oversees the financial direction of the company through forecasting, budgeting and modeling. Protecting the core financial model is his mission every day, and he helps our franchisees maximize their return on investment by coaching and sharing best practices. Also as Chief Lending Officer for the company’s franchise lending division, Capital 94, success for Vince is a healthy bottom line and to help franchisees with their expansion plans. He leads the largest department at Firehouse Subs Headquarters, with 12 dedicated financial and IT professionals.

A fanatic about food and the restaurant biz, Vince loves connecting with his family over a great meal, as well as attending his kids’ sporting events.
