2009 Firehouse Subs Men's Doubles Tennis Tournament

Playing to make a difference

Firehouse Subs is known for its hot, delicious sandwiches. But we’re just as proud of our Men’s Doubles Tournament. The tournament is in its 35th year, and in that time has donated over $1 million to various charities. This year our goal is $200,000, and it’s all going back to our roots.

The beneficiary of this year’s tournament is Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c)(3), non-profit organization. The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation is dedicated to improving the life-saving capabilities of emergency services by providing funding, resources and support to public safety entities.

Cannonball Punch Cocktail Reception

All attendees are invited to our Annual Cannonball Punch Cocktail Reception on Saturday, May 16th at 3:00 pm. This year’s reception features “Steak & Shrooms” and mashed potatoes from Outback Steakhouse, Grilled Salmon cooked by Firehouse Subs and last but not least, our world famous Cannonball Punch, provided by Jacksonville’s own Firehouse Subs muralist, "Artbrush."

Silent Auction

Please stop by and check out our Annual Silent Auction. You’ll find everything from vacation getaways to tennis collectables. The Silent Auction ends Saturday, May 16th at 5:00 pm.

Kids’ Day

Also, Kids’ Day is Saturday. Bring the whole family for a day of fun. We have all kinds of activities to keep the children entertained – bouncers, clown, real Dalmatians, and so much more!
The kids will certainly stay busy while Dad is playing tennis.
