AXE AWARD-WINNING FRANCHISEES HOLD FUNDRAISER IN JULY

Award-Winning Restaurant Owners Donate Proceeds to Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation

Local husband and wife duo and award-winning Firehouse Subs® restaurant owners Miah Manik and Zerin Sultana are hosting a week-long fundraiser benefiting Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation in an effort to help the 501(c)(3) organization achieve its mission of providing lifesaving equipment and resources to first responders and public safety organizations.

From Monday, July 19 through Sunday, July 25, West Melbourne and Port Orange Firehouse Subs restaurant guests can enjoy any FREE medium sub with the purchase of a medium or large sub, chips and a drink combo. Better yet, Manik and Zerin are donating 100% of the proceeds from these combo meals to the Foundation.

“We are thrilled to host a mid-year fundraiser for Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation,” said Manik. “The Foundation’s mission to help save lives means so much to us and we’re happy to support the non-profit how we can. Any of our hot and hearty sandwiches can be enjoyed with the combo, including the new Chicken Gyro Sub offered for a limited time.”

West Melbourne Police Department, Palm Bay Fire Rescue, Palm Bay Police Department and the Malabar Fire Department are among the local public safety organizations who have received recent lifesaving equipment grants from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

Earlier this year, Manik and Sultana earned an Axe Award for Southeast Franchisees of the Year, presented by Firehouse of America. In the Firehouse Subs system of more than 1,200 restaurants, this award recognized the duo as high-performing business owners for their unwavering commitment to maintain outstanding operations at their two restaurants.

This top company honor also highlighted their fervent support of Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation as consistently two of the top restaurant fundraisers in the U.S. Notably, Manik and Sultana held a week-long fundraiser in February 2021 at both restaurants which donated 100% of two combo proceeds to the Foundation.
