Local family opens first Firehouse Subs in Leland, their third in the Wilmington area
The Tabor family shares the brand's commitment by giving back through Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation
LELAND — The first Firehouse Subs restaurant in Leland opened its doors Sept. 30. This new local restaurant is owned and operated by franchisees Louis and Jan Tabor.
The Leland Firehouse Subs marks the third restaurant for the Tabors, who opened their first restaurant in Wilmington back in 2006 and a second restaurant in 2008. Their son, Chris, has helped run one of their Wilmington restaurants for more than a decade and will now manage the Leland restaurant.
The Tabor family is dedicated to sharing the brand’s commitment to giving back through Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, which has granted more than $121,000 in the Wilmington area. A portion of every sale at any Firehouse Subs in the United States benefits the Foundation, allowing the Foundation to achieve its mission of providing lifesaving equipment, funding and education to first responders and public safety organizations across the country.
