FRIENDS OF FIREHOUSE AND FRANCHISEES COME TOGETHER IN LA

Thanks to combined efforts, 240 meals have been given to healthcare workers and first responders across the Los Angeles area. Friends and family of Area Representatives Jim Fick and Jeff Press stepped up to personally serve healthcare professionals and first responders on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic by donating hundreds of dollars. These individuals personally reached out to Fick and Press to donate money for them to pay it forward. Thanks to these efforts, they have been able to provide:
- 40 meals to night shift employees at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital’s Emergency Department
- 20 meals to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station, who tweeted about it HERE
- 20 meals to in-house pharmacists at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital
- 20 meals to healthcare workers in Tower 4 - a part of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital where they’re treating COVID-19 patients
To thank first responders for their service during this time of uncertainty, Firehouse Subs Temecula Franchisees Marsha Chatterjee and Becsy Peraji partnered with Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation to donate 80 meals to the Temecula Fire Department and 60 meals to Riverside County Fire Department.
