MICHIGAN FIREHOUSE SUBS FRANCHISEE & LOCAL BUSINESS OWNER FEED LOCAL HEROES

Firehouse Subs Area Representative John Kupiec partnered with local business, D&M Services Pro, to donate more than 800 meals in the Brighton, Michigan area. They posted on social media encouraging the community to donate money to buy meals that would be delivered to local heroes in the area. Through this partnership, these local businesses raised more than $9,000 from the Brighton community to donate Firehouse Subs meals to local healthcare workers, military veterans, senior citizens and children.

Thanks to the community support, Firehouse Subs in Brighton provided and delivered meals for lunch and dinner to healthcare workers at McLaren Flint Hospital, Ascension Genesis Hospital, Hurley Medical Center, Flint Veterans Affairs Clinic, Whaley Children’s Hospital, State Police at the Grand Blanc Police Post and senior citizens at Abbey Park Assisted Living Center.

“Public safety is at the heart of who we are at Firehouse Subs, and we're honored to do our part through this partnership with D&M Services Pro.," said Firehouse Subs Area Representative John Kupiec. "Knowing what our doctors, nurses and hospital staff are up against right now, we saw a need to help, and I am so humbled by the Flint community's generosity to make all of this possible. These donated meals will help fuel our local healthcare workers in their tireless efforts to keep our communities safe.”
