NEW RESTAURANT OPENING IN UNIVERSITY CITY, CALIFORNIA

CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood has a new food option with the opening of a new Firehouse Subs location. The location will be open daily for dine-in or to-go food, which can also be ordered ahead of time through the Firehouse Subs app or website. This will be a unique “all-outdoor-dining” location that will also feature the brand’s new “Community Design” concept that is said to improve the experience for guests and work-flow for the crew members.

The exact location was not given, but I believe it may have taken over a location on the second floor, across the way from the entrance to the movie theater. Firehouse sent over a fun picture featuring a large piece of artwork in the location featuring the Los Angeles County Fire Dept. Universal Studios Fire Station, complete with a T-Rex being fed a tasty sub by a fireman standing atop one of the trucks. The dude may give Owen Grady a run for his money when it comes to training the dangerous and prehistoric beasts.

And now I’m suddenly hungry for a meatball sub… well played Firehouse Subs.
