Local police department receives a donation of lifesaving equipment from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation

The Jefferson Police Department received two automated external defibrillators (AEDs), which went into use immediately after they were purchased. Also receiving grants were the fire departments in Story City, Des Moines, Altoona, and Northern Warren County.
