Local fire department receives donation of lifesaving equipment from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation

North Lenoir Fire & Rescue received a new rescue boat to allow rapid response to active water rescue incidents such as exposure to hurricanes, flash flooding, and river flooding events. The new rescue boat can be rapidly deployed from the trailer or be carried by personnel to the water, providing a fast response.
