Local public safety organizations receive a donation of lifesaving equipment from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation

The Town of Camillus Police Department received two automated external defibrillators. Each of the department's patrol vehicles will now be outfitted with AEDs. The Syracuse Fire Department received 300 carbon monoxide detectors to be installed and serviced in homes throughout Syracuse. The Fairmount Fire Department received 10 automated external defibrillators and medical equipment to help provide medical assistance if someone has a cardiac arrest. The Solvay Fire Department received a chest compression system to assist firefighters by delivering uninterrupted chest compressions at a constant rate and depth to cardiac arrest patients, helping improve their chance of survival. The Otisco Fire Department received an all-terrain vehicle and skid unit to allow firefighters to provide life-saving assistance and battle fires in areas where traditional emergency vehicles can't travel.
