Local public safety organizations receive a donation of lifesaving equipment from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation

The Staunton Police Department received six automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to help provide immediate medical assistance to those in cardiac arrest and the Staunton-Augusta Rescue Squad received a chest compression system which gives cardiac arrest patients uninterrupted chest compressions at a constant rate.
